Pat DIACCA Topp is a Wisconsin artist, who received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Alverno College, Milwaukee. In 1969, she also received a Masters Degree in Painting and Drawing by the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
Her Central Wisconsin studio and gallery is now celebrating its 25th year. She has specialized in many metal enamel techniques and is now working on glass plates and bowls using a new material, Carefree Lusters®) - recently developed for use on enamels and glass. She and her husband both enjoy cooking, gardening and curling (a Scottish sport played on ice) as well as hunting with their English Setter.
Pat continues to expand her artistic endeavors from the rare plique-à-jour enamel technique - one-of-a-kind cloisonné paintings - to designing a line of jewelry. Her meticulous craftsmanship and design ability have won her many awards in museum and University shows. In the past, she has traveled to many art fairs, but now prefers to spend more time in her studio producing and experimenting with new techniques. |
